One of the really neat features of this competition that we are most proud of are the rules designed to insure that the Host Club does precisely that - we Host - we don't compete in the categories but have a separate display area for our members.

Posted entries will be available for viewing on the World Wide Web from now on, with judging taking place during June. Winners will be announced by July 1, 2021

We at DSC hope and pray that this crisis will end soon. Until then, we are going to do the proactive thing and provide this new approach to help keep us all safe and still enjoy the collective creativity of those who participate in our hobby.

Breaking News!! - This beautiful model craftsman tool chest is being offered as one of the top prizes in the raffle at the Desert Scale Classic this year. Hand crafted and built specifically for model builders like us, this gem is up for grabs to the guy or gal that buys the winning ticket! So come early, buy often, and make sure you are there! Only those in attendance will have a shot at this, so make sure you get there and get your tickets!

We also will have a LOAD of other prizes, various donated kits, supplies, paints, and tools donated by our Sponsors and Vendors  to raffle off throughout the day .

Between the goodies in the raffle and the stuff available through our vendors, you would have to be nuts not ​to attend, even if you didn't have any models to put on the table!

After some very involved and deep discussions, the management team wrestled with the twin complex issues of what categories would be included for DSC 17 and which toppings were needed on the pizzas being delivered for the meeting. It was a really tough set of decisions and we are happy to announce that we have added three new categories for 2020!  - Youth, 4x4 Non-competition, and Sedan Deliveries / SUVs / Vans. The balance of the 2020 categories remain in place.
